Courses to increase and develop employee competence
- Training from generally educative to specialist level in the fields of safety management system and management.
- Just Culture – in aviation as well as in other fields (medical, maritime, railway, construction).
- Decision Making Training – provides a helicopter view for managers in various fields and possible parallels between cockpit and office.
- For flight training organizations, there is a choice of teaching methodology training, both as an initial and a refresher course:
- flight instructors (FI(A) ja FI(H));
- type rating instructors (TRI);
- security instructors; – cabin crew instructors;
- sailplane instructors.
The teaching methodology training can also be adapted to teachers in other fields. All teaching courses include video training. The following list is not conclusive. Support in building up and developing the management system
Perenne provides support in building and developing aviation company’s safety and quality/compliance monitoring systems. If necessary, we will pinpoint the weaknesses and assist in making changes and improvements. Compilation of safety case and risk assessments
Perenne draws up safety case and risk assessments for various changes and projects. Analyses are prepared in co-operation with specialists of the customer’s field. Each safety case and risk assessment team consists of at least 2 compliers who are selected by Perenne on the basis of the area of the change or the project.
Conducting (internal) audits and safety surveys
We conduct various (internal) audits and safety surveys. The conductors of the studies are selected based on the field of auditing and investigation. If necessary, we will involve several people.
Sharing the best practices in the field of aviation with other fields
We have shared best practices in the field of aviation with the field of medicine. In doing so, Kaie Peerna gave a presentation regarding the aviation safety management system at the Kliinik 2019 conference. This was preceded by a presentation at the Patient Safety workshop, which led to the publication of the article “Safety Management System in Aviation – could the medical field learn something from it?” (Original title: “Ohutusjuhtimissüsteem lennunduses – kas meditsiinivaldkonnal on sellest üht-teist õppida?”) in Perearst magazine.

About us
Kaie Peerna has worked as a helicopter pilot, a quality manager, a lecturer at the Estonian Aviation Academy as well as the head of the safety department of the Estonian Air Navigation Services. Kaie graduated from the Estonian Aviation Academy in 2002 with a degree in helicopter piloting, in 2004 she went through the teacher training in the technical field programme at the University of Tartu and, in 2010, graduated from the University of Tartu Master’s Degree Program in Mentoring. In 2015, she underwent a Team Leaders Development Program where Kaie also had her own personal excutive coach. Since the spring of 2018, Kaie is an AoEC certified Executive Coach. We involve the best experts in the field to provide various services and training. More information will be included in the offer.
